I was able to purchase this guitar for $199. including shipping. The quality of this guitar, the tone, and even the guitar case are really exceptional for the money.

This is an awesome guitar. It sounds great and looks great. It is reasonably priced for this quality of guitar.

br /The guitar case that it comes with is an awesome hard shell case and I have seen the same one selling on the internet for over $70 alone.

br /My only qualms are with Amazon who shipped me the natural finish instead of the black finish. I have decided to keep the natural finish but I have contacted Amazon about their mistake.

I have to start this with the statement that I am/was moving at the time and wasn't at the shipping location all that much or that often until now.
br /I got the package - box was waaaaaaay to big, but in a hard case it really didn't matter.
br /When I took the case out of the box I noticed that the handle was broken - bummer. So I looked inside and found a beautiful guitar that sounds great. I have Washburn electric Bass as well, so I'm familiar with the brand. The only issue I have is that the neck is too narrow for my hand, but it's certainly not a show stopper and it's not anything I'd say negatively about the guitar - it would fit my ex-wife's hand perfectly (But I already got her an Ovation).
br /I went on line to see what I could do about the case, and by 2 days it had already been too long since it was shipped for me to process a return, so I'll just put a little epoxy on the handle and it should be good to go.
br /Well constructed, nice sound, case fits well -- nothing really negative to say.....

I am writing this review from the perspective of an experienced amateur. I got my first acoustic guitar over 40 years ago; I've looked at and played numerous makes/models...and this guitar is one of the best I've found in the "affordable"(ie, less than $400-$500) range.

br /Why? For less than $300, one gets the following:
br /- solid spruce top
br /- mahogany back, sides, and neck
br /- rosewood fingerboard bridge
br /- Grover-style sealed tuners
br /- Buzz Feiten Tuning System (amazing...see his web site for more info)
br /- nice bindings on the body neck
br /- D'Addario strings
br /- a case (more on this)
br /
br /I am able to pluck harmonics at almost every fret...rare on any guitar, no matter the price.
br /The Buzz Feiten Tuning System maintains pitch, most importantly, at the lower 3 frets.
br /
br /My guitar may have been a "blem" as it has several minor cosmetic issues...but nothing that I couldn't accept...it plays sounds so well!
br /
br /With respect to the case: mine is not the "GC110" that Washburn lists on their website...it was a less-expensive, lower-quality one; honestly, it is not worthy of the guitar, so I will upgrade it soon. I am not sure why the switch was done. Again, not a deal breaker...but potential buyers should be aware.
br /
br /Bottom line...If someone asked me to recommend a good quality, reasonably-priced, fine-sounding fun-to-play acoustic guitar, the D-10 would be my first suggestion...and it comes with its own case (with the caveat that it might not be as good as the earlier models' cases).

This Guitar is awesome! When i was browsing Amazon website, the pic of this item was black finish. That was the reason I decided to buy it. However,they shipped me a natural finish, which was a little bit annoying. They told me that they didn't have black finish any more. Then, I have to find the black finish guitar somewhere else.The good thing is that their replacement and return process was really fast. So, I don't have any big problem with this order.
